Updates that support teaching with video

We’ve also made improvements to support teaching with video in ClickView. These updates make it easier to find the right videos, use them in class, and see how students are engaging.

1. Hover to preview videos

Finding the right video quickly matters, especially when planning lessons or teaching on the fly. Hover to preview videos lets you see a short visual preview of a video directly from the library before opening it.

This means you can quickly check the style, topic, and relevance of a video without having to wait for it to load. It helps you skim content faster and confidently choose the right video within seconds, saving valuable planning time.

2. Drawing interaction on interactives

Drawing responses gives students another way to interact with videos in ClickView. Instead of typing, students can draw directly on the screen when answering quiz questions.

This is especially helpful for younger students or early writers. It makes quizzes easier to use while still encouraging active participation.

Interactive video quizzes ask students to respond as they watch. Teachers can use pre-made quizzes or create their own to support learning and check understanding.

3. Transcripts

Transcripts make it easier to search and use videos in lessons. Teachers can follow along as text is highlighted in real time, jump to key moments, and download transcripts to support lesson planning.
