ClickView and NZSBA support New Zealand schools with curriculum-aligned video

Published on 3 min read

ClickView has launched the new ClickView version for New Zealand schools, created with the support of the New Zealand School Boards Association (NZSBA). As part of this partnership, new schools can access ClickView free until 30 June 2026, while existing ClickView schools will automatically receive the upgraded experience at no extra cost.

Designed for New Zealand classrooms

Built specifically for New Zealand teachers, the new ClickView version gives schools access to curriculum-aligned video resources developed for the New Zealand Curriculum.

Every video has been carefully selected for cultural relevance, featuring Māori perspectives, Pasifika cultures, and familiar New Zealand voices. Teachers and students can access these engaging, copyright-compliant videos safely and confidently in class.

Why New Zealand, why now?

Teachers know that video is one of the best ways to engage students and explain new ideas. Recent surveys show that more than 80% of teachers turn to YouTube for classroom videos, but open platforms often expose students to videos that are inaccurate, irrelevant, or not copyright-compliant.

Most New Zealand schools already hold a Screenrights Educational Licence, which allows them to use recorded broadcast videos for teaching. ClickView helps schools get even more value from that licence by giving them access to high-quality, curriculum-aligned videos made for New Zealand classrooms, available free until 30 June 2026 with the support of NZSBA.

“ClickView’s library of curriculum-aligned video resources is one of the best ways school boards and principals can help their teachers deliver effective and engaging learning experiences, which we know is crucial to student achievement. You pay for a Screenrights licence to support learning in your school, and this is how you get the most out of it.”
