Fadi Elbarbar is a seasoned educator and curriculum leader based in Melbourne, Australia, with a passion for designing learning that inspires both the heart and mind. With over 15 years of experience in Catholic education, Fadi has led Religious Education faculties across multiple schools, where he has guided teams through curriculum renewal, professional formation, and mission-driven innovation.
Deeply committed to faith-informed education, Fadi has developed and implemented curriculum that is theologically grounded, contextually responsive, and aligned with the evolving needs of today’s learners. His leadership at Sacred Heart College in Hobart saw the successful redevelopment of a whole-school RE scope and sequence, balancing theological depth with student-centered pedagogy.
Fadi holds a Master of Theological Studies and a Educational Leadership. His recent research explored how the See, Judge, Act framework can help adolescents engage meaningfully with Gospel values in a contemporary Church. Beyond curriculum, he has also facilitated interfaith dialogue through Generation Global and was recognised as Fairtrade Supporter of the Year in 2014 for his social justice advocacy. At the heart of his work is a belief that education—particularly Religious Education—has the power to form compassionate, thoughtful individuals ready to make a difference.
