Robert Snyder (Author)
As a 15 year Army veteran and life-long teacher, it is Robert Snyder's passion to help K-6 grade children learn about the dedication and sacrifices our veterans make.
Robert Snyder is a former Army Reserve officer, elementary teacher, and children's author. 'Why Did Daddy Have to Leave?' was inspired by the feelings his own six- and eight-year-old children encountered as he mobilized and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and 'What Is a Veteran, Anyway?' draws on his years of service in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Baghdad.
