The Australian Football League (AFL) is the governing body of Australian Football, running the AFL and AFLW competitions across 18 member clubs. Beyond the elite game, it supports grassroots participation through its Play, Coach, Umpire and Schools pathways. Through AFL Schools, teachers can access free, curriculum-based lessons for primary and secondary students that cover both in-class and on-field learning, along with professional development. Its programs also include AFL GOALS, a free mental fitness series for schools developed with Matterworks and informed by research from the Murdoch Children's Research Institute.
