Why should I enable Deep Linking and Assignment & Grade Services during installation?
Enabling these permissions allows ClickView interactive videos to send student results directly back to Schoology’s Gradebook, ensuring grades are recorded automatically without manual entry.
Install the ClickView app
- Sign in to your Schoology account.
- Navigate to the App Center by clicking on the four squares on the top bar.

- Search for the ClickView app and install it from the App Center.

- When you select the ClickView app, you will see the installation information page.

- Click Install LTI 1.3 App.

- Complete the consent form for Deep Linking and Assignment and Grade Services. This enables grade pass-back between Schoology and ClickView.

- Once installed, the ClickView app is available for all courses or specific courses based on your preference.

Add ClickView videos to your course
Method I: Add Materials
- Go to the course where you want to add ClickView content and select Add Materials.

- Sign in to your ClickView account and choose the desired content.

- Select the video embed size from the Video size drop-down and check Auto-play if needed.

Method II: Assignment, Page, Assessment, or Media Package
- Create a new Assignment, Page, Assessment, or Media Package (any option with a HTML editor).
- Click the button with the arrow pointing left diagonally downwards in a box, select Image/Media, then ClickView.

Enable grade pass-back for interactive videos
- In your course, select Add Materials > Add File/Link/External Tool > External Tool.
- Fill out all mandatory fields, check Enable Grading, and select a Category.
- Choose the desired ClickView interactive video to add.

- Students complete the interactive video in Schoology—their grades become available in the Gradebook section.

Yes. Create a new Assignment, Page, Assessment, or Media Package and use the Image/Media > ClickView option from the HTML editor.
Add the interactive video as an External Tool in your Schoology course. Enable grading and assign a category. Grades will then appear in the Gradebook section after students complete the video.
