Helen Dodd is an experienced UK primary school teacher, English leader and key stage two leader.
Before entering education, Helen worked as an administrator for the London School of Economics and then as a journalist at Pensions World magazine where she became assistant editor. She then studied a PGCE in primary education and for the last 15 years has worked in schools across South London and Kent. She has secured high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils and made a significant contribution to the schools’ strategic development and direction.
Helen has studied courses with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) since 2020 and she is an entry-level member. She now has a portfolio career as a freelance proofreader/editor, educational resources creator and education consultant.
