Amanda Joachim is an educational media consultant, researcher, and writer. Her interdisciplinary and creative approach is inspired by her own experiences learning and working in the Philadelphia school district.
Amanda holds a BA in International Relations and an MFA in Creative Writing from Arcadia University. Her academic focus on history and postcolonialism motivated her to study abroad in Jordan and Ireland, as well as residencies in Scotland and Cyprus.
Amanda has contributed to various educational media projects for clients globally. Drawing from her experiences as both a student and a substitute teacher within the Philadelphia public school system, Amanda creates educational content that encourages students to explore their own historical narratives and creative potential.
