ClassHook joins ClickView
ClickView acquires ClassHook to expand its mission of providing engaging educational videos to U.S. Schools
Today, I’m excited to share that ClickView has acquired ClassHook, the leading provider of short engaging video “hooks” for teachers.
After our acquisition of Streamable Learning earlier this year, we’re continuing our expansion in the U.S. market and doubling down on our mission to help teachers incorporate more video into their teaching and create engaging lessons students will love.
The acquisition of ClassHook directly supports this mission and our growth in the U.S. while introducing new and exciting ways for teachers and students to engage with video.
About ClassHook
ClassHook is home to thousands of curated, emotionally engaging video clips from popular movies and series that capture students’ curiosity. Used by K-12 educators in over 25,000 schools, ClassHook has become an indispensable resource for busy teachers who need to quickly engage students and make learning relevant.
When I first started talking to Alex (Co-founder and CEO of ClassHook) it immediately became apparent that we were thinking about the same problems and passionate about making video more useful in schools. We quickly started to talk about how we could work together and ultimately decided that we could have a larger positive impact by joining forces.
In his own words:

I’m really excited to amplify our impact through this acquisition. ClickView’s mission aligns perfectly with ClassHook’s—making learning more relevant and engaging for students. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead to support more classrooms across the U.S. and reimagine how educators use video.

What this means for ClassHook customers
For ClassHook customers, this acquisition is great news. Not only will they continue to receive uninterrupted access to ClassHook, but schools will also enjoy a fresh, new look and feel.
Every ClassHook video that teachers already know and love will continue to be accessible, now with an improved experience taking advantage of ClickView’s intuitive video platform technology.
Additionally, all ClassHook schools will receive a special offer for full access to ClickView.

ClassHook will continue to be a distinct platform. This dual approach allows schools to enjoy the unique benefits of both platforms, expanding their access to a wider range of high-quality educational videos to enhance teaching.
I am extremely happy to welcome the talented ClassHook team to ClickView and I’m looking forward to working together to make video easier to use in schools across the U.S.
