ClickView joins OECM as the approved video platform for Ontario school boards
We’re excited to announce that ClickView has been awarded supplier status under OECM’s Literacy Digital Tool Systems, Research Digital Tool Systems, and Related Services agreement, making it easier than ever for Ontario school boards to access ClickView through their trusted procurement process.
What is OECM?
OECM (Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace) is a not-for-profit collaborative sourcing partner serving 100% of Ontario’s education sector. OECM agreements are developed through a rigorous, transparent procurement process in compliance with Ontario’s Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive, delivering measurable value and savings for school boards.
The OECM selection process
ClickView has been awarded under Categories A and B, Literacy Digital Tool Systems, Research Digital Tool Systems, and Related Services, alongside three other awarded supplier partners. The agreement was developed in consultation with the Ministry of Education (MEDU), the Educational Computing Network of Ontario (ECNO), Peel District School Board, and York Catholic District School Board, who served as project advisors on the procurement committee. The agreement runs until November 9, 2031, giving school boards a long-term, stable procurement option for curriculum-aligned digital learning tools.
Why ClickView?
ClickView is a K-12 video platform with thousands of videos mapped to the Ontario Curriculum and is trusted by over ten thousand schools across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and, more recently, Canada. We combine original filmed series with licensed videos from world-leading educational producers, all organised by subject, topic, and grade so teachers can find the right video in seconds. Every video comes with classroom-ready interactive quizzes and learning resources. Teachers can see how their students perform through actionable analytics, helping them target gaps in understanding and personalize their teaching.
Throughout the review process, OECM noted that ClickView brings experience across school districts of various sizes, has existing relationships with Ontario school boards, and recognises the importance of Indigenous knowledge, values, and voices in education. ClickView has also met the Vetting of Application Security and Privacy (VASP) assessment criteria, so school boards can be confident the platform meets Ontario’s privacy and security standards.
We’re committed to Ontario schools
We’re not just bringing ClickView to Ontario, we’re building it for Ontario. That means listening to school boards, producing and acquiring more Canadian content, and continuously improving our platform to meet the needs of Ontario teachers and students. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.
