August brings a fresh wave of content to ClickView for schools across the US, reaching every grade level. Spotlight on New Content
This month we are highlighting a new series exploring the economic capacity of different US states. As a useful social studies resource, these videos are aimed at middle schoolers.
Middle School Highlights
Did you know that many U.S. states have economies that are bigger than entire countries? This series explores state economies across the United States, including the key industries of each state, their global trade connections, and their place in the national economy.

America’s state economies are global players. Texas, New York, and Pennsylvania each produce over a trillion dollars a year, output that dwarfs most nations. Even the states considered mid-sized by national standards, like the Carolinas, Wisconsin, Virginia, are hundreds-of-billions-of-dollars economies in their own right, each bigger than the GDP of most countries on Earth. These places are fueled by agriculture, steel, and energy industries operating at massive scale.
Yet at their heart, it isn’t about the money.
It’s about the people.
The workers, the families, the communities who prop up these economies, who provide goods and services to others, both locally and around the world. The people who live in these states have forged not just their livelihoods, but their identities, through their work and their geography. And that’s not just true of the big industries. Florists, health workers, teachers, tradespeople, the ones who serve their local communities directly, are every bit as important.
That’s what makes creating educational resources for economics so fascinating, and producing State Economies was no exception. This seven-part series gives teaching and learning communities in Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Virginia video support material built around their local curriculums and local cultures. Each episode looks at the industries that keep a state turning, and at how those industries shape identity, both individually and collectively.

Movies + TV Highlights
ClickView is thrilled to welcome Animotion’s vibrant collection of educational series to Movies + TV.
Aligned to geography, culture and history skills and knowledge, take your students on a colorful journey around the world and learn travel tips along the way with Beardy Bodo. Elementary learners will also learn the value of imagination, play, and managing emotions with the Saurs family in DinoCity.
Jump into science and technology with Pincode. Set in outer space, Captain Pin and his friends explore scientific innovation through experiments, spanning topics from health and biology, to space exploration and physics.

Curation and Special Events
This month’s new Topics for Elementary students journey across Africa, explore rules, rights, and responsibilities, and recharge with brain breaks. Middle school students can hit the field with soccer, examine the workings of the U.S. economy, and build confidence with dance skills. High school students can delve into the fundamentals of mobility exercises, get active on the pickleball court, and explore the reasons behind behavior and how it shapes our everyday lives.
