This month’s middle school highlight features a new ClickView and Oxford University Press collaboration, with the Economics Toolkit series equipping students with the key concepts and skills they need to confidently explore the world of economics.

New Crash Course series have arrived on ClickView, covering a range of subject areas. Build stronger learning habits with Crash Course Study Skills, explore the science of the mind in Crash Course Psychology, and discover the stories, experiences and contributions that have shaped the history of Black Americans in Crash Course Black American History.

Math with Mr. J
A whole range of new series have been added to ClickView from Math with Mr. J, covering a huge range of different topics from fractions and decimals to algebra and inequalities.

This month, Movies + TV welcomed more new releases from New Day Films, exploring social issues and stories of resilience across America.
A coming-of-age story in the world of professional table tennis sets the scene for Top Spin. The documentary follows three teenage athletes with an Olympic-sized dream to represent the US. Complexities of adolescent pressures come to light in honest confessionals from the teen pros, who are learning how to balance school, family commitments, friendships and Olympic ambition.
Travelling to the oil fields of North Dakota, White Earth examines the reality of life in an oil-boom town. Filmed during a harsh winter, the film is told through the lens of three children and a mother, all of whom are interconnected by the oil rigs. An unflinching portrayal of work, opportunity and chasing the American Dream, the film observes a community under the thumb of oil.
A moving film that ties resilience and culture together, Heart of The Sea: Kapolioka’ehukai is must-watch documentary for all educators. The film follows Hawaiian surfer and breast cancer activist Rell Sunn, a break-out female athlete whose story is one of courage, hope and unwavering dedication to her community. Compiled with incredible surfing footage and insightful interviews with Sunn throughout her journey, this film is a love letter to the ocean, and the spirit of Hawaii.
In this deeply personal documentary about families and culture, director Deann Borshay Liem investigates her own adoption in First Person Plural. Embarking on a revealing journey of discovering herself, Liem discusses her experience of being a Korean child adopted by a white American family. Crossing the cultural divide to bravely reunite with her biological family, Liem explores broader themes of migration, kinship and self-identity.
