Started to work as a Simultaneous Interpreter and Translator in 2003 (I like to say that I am a 360° translator because I translate material in every field: Technical translations, aerospace, automotive, cranes, trucks, cars, finance, agriculture, Human Resources, electricity, subtitling, fashion, medical translations, pharmacy, healthcare, official speeches, press releases, automation, clinical trials, and so on).
Twenty-two years of experience translating and reviewing materials led me to work as Validator and Quality Inspector. Currently, I translate, review, transcreate and reconciliate content for more than 195 accounts.
As a language validator, I make final decisions about the translation taking into consideration all the suggested versions, and coming up with the best version of it. I also answer to questions/issues raised by linguists and stakeholders; providing explanations for the final choice and supporting evidence or research (i.e. very specific technical terms, etc.). I also provide literal and polished back-translations of the final translation.
Approved translator in the subtitling industry from Spanish Castilian in English, Spanish Latam in English and Italian in English (Deluxe). As a translator and QA specialist, I validate content before the final delivery to the clients (movies and TV series).
