Ron Nober did not take a traditional path to teaching, rather he worked as an archaeologist and certified dog trainer prior to finding his passion for teaching. Since finding that passion, Ron has been teaching since 2012. He has taught grades 3, 5 and technology/STEAM to grades 3-8.
Ron has spoken and presented at numerous conferences on design thinking, the use of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the classroom, mental health in schools, and using the film “Girl Rising” in the classroom. He has also been featured in a December 2020 Washington Post article about engaging students during remote learning. Ron is also the co-host of the TeacherNerdz Podcast.
