A Year in Review for UK Schools

As we enjoy the festive season and 2025 comes to a close, we’re celebrating the teachers and staff who made learning happen across the UK. By revisiting the ClickView content most appreciated this year, we can see what supported classrooms, sparked engagement, and shaped learning the most in 2025.

Primary

Instrumental music, especially calming and dreamy piano tracks, proved overwhelmingly popular in primary schools! We also saw new Miniclips bringing important celebrations like Saint Andrew’s Day and Halloween to life.

A new Science production made a clear impact with What Are Microorganisms? being seen at the top of the list.The Odyssey in Context supported the study of a key literary text and had a strong reception from teachers. The rest of the list was dominated by Lo-Fi and instrumental music, underscoring the continued use of study tracks to help create calm, focused learning environments.

From animated favourites like Ratatouille and Inside Out, which entertain while exploring important personal values, to literary adaptations such as the enduring An Inspector Calls, classrooms engaged with a diverse mix of films that balanced enjoyment with meaningful educational value throughout 2025.

Top 10 most downloaded Resources

Teachers and students made the most of the thousands of downloadable resources available on ClickView videos. Popular resource types included activity sheets and teacher packs on topics such as the physical states of water, the human skeleton, food chains, classification, electricity, and historical events like World War II.

Reflection and looking ahead
