Ruby has worked in SEND education for over a decade, starting in a support role and moving into teaching upon completing a PGCE in 2021.
She has worked with multidisciplinary teams to create individualised educational experiences for a wide variety of students with disabilities and additional support needs, from Autism to social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH) to profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
With a background in psychology and creative arts, she specialised in:
- implementing positive behaviour support strategies,
- thinking outside the box with creative differentiated instructional strategies,
- fostering an environment that supported the development of all students.
Ruby now works as a Resource Specialist at ClickView, helping teachers to access a diverse range of resources to meet curriculum needs. She is passionate about finding innovative ways to make learning accessible and joyful, to ensure all students have access to exciting, fun, and enriching learning experiences to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
